Terms of Service

PattoSystems ("PattoSystems", "us", "we", or "our") has developed this Terms of Service ("TOS") document to govern PattoSystems' online services ("Services") which consist of Domain Registrations/Transfers/Management, Shared Hosting, Semi-Dedicated Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Dedicated Servers, Business Emails, Data Backups and any related add-on products.

This TOS includes our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), Privacy Policy and Service Level Agreement (SLA). It is very important that you read this TOS in its entirety. By registering as a Client ("Customer"), you consent to be bound by this TOS. It is your responsibility to ensure that your usage of our Services is in compliance with this TOS.

We reserve the right to amend this TOS at any time. We will notify you of these changes by sending an email to your contact email address registered on file and posting a complimentary notice in our Client Area. If we make a change that materially impacts your ability to use the Services, you may terminate the affected Services without penalty.

1.1. Currency

All prices denoted on our website are in terms of EUR (€). If your debit or credit card's primary currency is not EUR, your card issuer will apply a conversion based on their exchange rates which we have no control over.

1.2. Delivery of Service

Once your order is placed, our system will automatically provision you with an account which you can use to access our Client Area. All orders are subjected to an automatic screening process to prevent fraud. Providing false contact information of any kind may result in the termination of your account or the rejection of your order.

Your order is only processed after we receive full payment through any of our supported payment methods. All orders are delivered electronically via email.

1.3. Discontinuation

We reserve the right to discontinue any of our Services at our sole discretion. If a particular service is to be discontinued, we will provide advance notice of at least 30 days to the Customer.

1.4. Pricing Adjustment

We reserve the right to adjust the prices of any of our Services at our sole discretion. If there is to be a price adjustment, we will provide advance notice of at least 30 days to the Customer.

1.5. Website Transfer

We offer complementary website transfer with the purchase of any of our website hosting Services. For Customers purchasing our Reseller Hosting Package, we can assist you in transferring up to 30 cPanel accounts free of charge per order and 20 cPanel accounts on each subsequent month of service. For every 3 cPanel accounts in excess of the aforementioned numbers, a €1.00 charge will apply.

This is done on a courtesy basis and we cannot make any guarantee about the success of the website transfer or the time involved. It is your responsibility to check the integrity of your data after transfer.

1.6. Domain Renewal

Domain renewals go through automated processes. You agree that PattoSystems cannot be held liable for any loss or damages that may arise as a result of your domain not being successfully renewed, including the loss of domain to a third party.

2.2. Account Security

The security of your cPanel, FTP, email accounts and billing systems are your responsibility. We recommend passwords that are at least 8 characters and contain upper-case, lower-case, numbers, and symbols. For website hosting Services, while we assist in patching compromised websites under Best Effort Support, we reserve the right to charge a fee at an hourly rate of €50/hour.

3.1. Backups - Data Storage

Encryption: Industry-leading AES-256 encryption is used to encrypt data backed up on our remote backup servers. We maintain remote backup servers in several locations within Europe and the United States. Your acceptance of this TOS constitutes explicit permission for us to store and process your data abroad.

3.2. Backups - Customer's Responsibilities

You agree to take full responsibility for data hosted on your account. While we perform routine backups (via JetBackup), these are not meant to replace your own backups. The backups we carry out are solely for disaster recovery.

If the issue cannot be fixed, you are entitled to a refund within the first 45 days of service. All refunds are subjected to a deduction of 5% or €1.00 (whichever is higher) due to processing fees.

7.1. Disputes

You agree that any dispute which cannot be resolved between you and PattoSystems will be submitted for binding arbitration under the auspices of local law. If a threat is made to us, we reserve the right to cease communication or refuse service.
